Sukhi says "No silence"


Myanmar leader Aung San Sukhi responded to allegations that she was not silent during the Rohingya crisis.
Aung San Sukhi is Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Aung San Sukhi  is the first and the current State Councilor of Myanmar, the similar position as Prime Minister.
There was a series of allegations from the leading Western countries and US claiming that Aung San Sukhi was practicing a silent policy against the Rohighgians. Some parties emphasized that the Nobel Peace Prize should be re-acquired.
Sukhi denied allegations by holding a joint media briefing with United States Secretary of State Rex Thilerson, who is visiting Myanmar.
"I was silent. The people thought that there was not such an interesting thing in my statements. I was not surprised to say that. Not to encourage or attract attention. I was talking real. True. The real situation. I did not want the people to stand up to one another, "Sukhi said.

European countries go to new defense agreement
